Bird party

On our first day in Singapore we went to the Jurong Bird Park. We went to a couple of shows. The first show was called Birds of Prey. It was exciting when they flew over our heads. My brother volunteered to hold chop sticks with meat on the end. A bald eagle swooped down and grabbed it in five seconds. I am pleased to say Tom still has his fingers. When we got back to the hotel we went to the swimming pool which was outdoors.

Indo-Pacific Humpbacked Dolphin Party

I've always wanted to swim with dolphins and on Tom's birthday my dream came true.  I loved riding the dolphin, it felt amazing!

By the way this dolphin isn't a statue it is real.  His name is Splash.

Butterfly

In holidays I went to the Butterfly house and I held a butterfly. In the butterfly house you can go under a waterfall and butterflies fly around you.

Yesterday we went to the Catlins and we saw a fantail and an Australasian harrier.

When I went to Wanaka I saw a kea on a tree.The bright underwing of a kea is yellow orange and black.
